• Excellent video quality and video compression
  ApexDVR-2005 software provides excellent video quality. It has a 640x480 analysis and eliminates the "ghost effect" [that is, the delay  of a picture in a screen] at the movements video. In addition, it has  ΗΜ compression abilities (MPEG4-like) in order to cover CCTV applications. It offers television quality with no losses, ensuring enough storage space at the storage medium you are using [i.e. at the hard disk].
  
  
• Smart space-saving during recording 
  ApexDVR-2005 automatically defines the frames recording percentage to the movement amount. The lower frame percentage is used for the static video, and the higher  frame percentage is used for the full video movements.
  
  
• Advanced tracking and monitoring
  ApexDVR-2005 detects and follows moving targets automatically.  The main movement tracking feature of ApexDVR-2500 reduces false alarms that may be caused by climate changes, lighting changes, noise alarm, and fast movement. ApexDVR-2005 is sensitive to the moving targets, instable lighting environment and may optinally be adjusted so that it will not be affected by PTZ camera movements. In addition, it may filter the variable size of an object.
  
  
• Excellent remote control
  Multiple users can access the same ApexDVR-2005 area from the Internet or direct connection. The remote user can monitor and record up to 16 remote PTZ cameras, reproduce audio files, and adjust multiple  ApexDVR-2005 areas.
  
  
• Security and stability
  ApexDVR-2005 provides four user and password security levels and updates an "Import-Export" account control file. The SmartFile management  keeps off disk partitioning and increases the system's stability. The television recordings are stored in a database, improving this way the storage procedure. Also, ApexDVR-2005 includes a protection system that restarts the program automatically in case of system failure.
  
  
• Full Integration
  CCTV devices can be embedded in the ApexDVR-2005. PTZ cameras or vault cameras can be controlled remotely through a RS485/RS232 converter. Through an I/O card, ApexDVR-2005 receives the signals from the classical sensor devices and activates external devices, such as lights, switches, and other alarm devices.
  
  
• Incidence Warning
  ApexDVR-2005 sends directly a notification whenever it detects a not normal siituation. This warning can be send in a variety of ways:
  
  
  • Through telephone, e-mail, fax, Isound alarm, or direct signal.
  • Through an alarm device.
  • Through full screen camera projection from the camera that recorded the incident.
  • Through daily, weekly or monthly incident reporting.
  
  
• Export in .jpg
  ApexDVR-2005 takes a picture of the current television frame and stores it in .jpg format or prints it noting place, date, and time. The export is done in AVI or a sel-executed file. The self-executed file can be stored with an embedded digital certification and password protection.
